Surangan is a ‘Classical and Vocal Music School and a cultural center of two Bengal’s (Bangladesh and West Bengal). Surangan are in Houston- one of the most culturally diverse cities in the USA. We train and encourages our Bengali Cultural to our young generations, specially who are born and brought up in USA. We also provide music lessons to all ages group. Surangan is a standard bearer of music and prepares tailor made lessons for students who intend to learn true Bengali music

Surangan's mission is to create, teach and encourage Bengali Cultural through ‘Music’ to our new generation, who are born and brought up in USA.

Inspired by the commitment and passion for creating an original Bengali music school reflecting purity and authenticity, Surangan completes Ten years of imparting training in contemporary Bengali music and culture in the greater Houston area.​

• Language is no barrier that music cannot surpass. In this direction we strongly encourage non-Bengali speakers to learn Bengali music.

• Considering the diverse and vibrant nature of the city of Houston, Surangan collaborates with other performing cultural organizations, so that the students can take the opportunity of shared learning in the field of performing arts and music.

• We organize a large-scale musical event with renowned musicologist from abroad as SURANGAN DAY each year.
